These Terms of Service govern your use of the Resilient Home America website (resilienthomeamerica.org), including the Home Maintenance Score tool, partner resources, and any other digital services we provide. By using our site, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

Resilient Home America is a national non-profit initiative — not a government agency — dedicated to making weather-ready homes the new standard for all Americans. We work alongside local governments, builders, lenders, contractors, and financial protection providers, but we operate as an independent organization. 

3. Use of Our Website and Tools

You agree to use RHA's website and tools only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with our mission. You may not: 

  • Use the site to misrepresent your identity, credentials, or professional affiliation 

  • Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt any part of our systems or tools 

  • Submit false or misleading information through any RHA form or scoring tool 

  • Use our content, data, or resources for commercial purposes without written permission 

4. The Home Maintenance Score Tool

The Home Maintenance Score is an informational tool designed to help homeowners better understand their property's weather-related vulnerabilities. Important limitations apply: 

  • Scores are estimates based on available data and are not a guarantee of a home's actual performance in a weather event 

  • Results do not constitute an insurance assessment, engineering report, or legal opinion 

  • RHA is not responsible for decisions made based on score results 

  • Score availability is currently limited to Dallas, Texas, with additional markets forthcoming 

5. Certification and Partner Information

Information provided about RHA-certified contractors, builders, and partners is offered as a convenience. RHA does not warrant the quality, safety, or fitness of any third-party service provider. Homeowners are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging any contractor or financial partner. 

6. Grants, Loans, and Financial Incentives

RHA facilitates connections to funding opportunities, including grants and revolving loan programs. We do not guarantee funding availability, eligibility determinations, or loan approval. All financial decisions are made by the relevant funding partner or institution, not RHA. 

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, and tools — is the property of Resilient Home America or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. 

8. Third-Party Links and Resources

Our site may link to external websites and resources for your convenience. RHA does not endorse or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting external links is at your own discretion and risk.
